The Calibas bass was designed in 1987-88 when five and six string basses were becoming the new
fashionable instruments. Three sizes of this bass were made to accommodate 4, 5 and 6 strings.
The all exotic wood natural finish and new body shape made this instrument superior in looks and
performance, putting it at the top of the range.

Scalloped forearm chamfer for greater playing comfort

Two SN2000 pick-ups in black urethane resin encapsulations

Finished in a natural hard wearing gloss or satin lacquer
